British Endurance Championship

The MotorsportUK-sanctioned British Endurance Championship, running two or three-hour races for GT and TCR machines, is the flagship category of the Britcar organisation, which has promoted endurance racing for a variety of categories since 2002, and which has flourished under the management of Claire Hedley since 2016. The British Endurance Championship has also been granted official status to run the UK iteration of the TCR Endurance category.

Never shy of introducing innovative formats and inclusive categories, all endurance-themed, Britcar currently runs the Britcar Endurance Trophy, mainly 50-minute races for production-based cars, the Prototype Cup, and the flagship MotorsportUK-sanctioned British Endurance Championship
